In winter - KINDERLAND

The ski school Canazei - Marmolada offers a nursery service in the centre of Canazei, that is dedicated to kids from the age 3 to 12. This is where they can easily learn skiing and have fun with other children of their age. Moreover also a babysitting service is available. 

In summer - FASSA PARK

The Fassa Park is a playground for kids along the charming promenade that connects the village to the village of Campitello di Fassa. This park offers various funny and colourful playing opportunities for children as well as a tent with a bar, an area dedicated to relaxation and lawns for sun-bathing for adults.

The Dantone museum

This small museum in Penia near Canazei, which has been equipped by the local artist Colombo Dantone, is aimed at highlighting the metamorphosis of Fassa, that is to say it explains the touristic boom in the valley that has profoundly changed the way of living of inhabitants. 

Dantone, both craftsman and a passionate historical researcher, has collected and restored a series of tools and utensils of the Ladin tradition dating back to the Great War, which can be admired in the Dantone museum. 

Ladin museum Val di Fassa

The Ladin Museum in the Val di Fassa “Museo Ladin de Fascia”, inaugurated in 2001 at its new site, exhibits the ethnographic collections of the Ladin Cultural Institute, which are result of more than 30 years of research on culture, civilization and traditions of the Ladin people. 

The exhibits range from prehistory and the productive activities of the past to traditions, history, convictions, ethnogenesis to the appearance of mountaineering and mass tourism up to the present day. The museum is equipped with a system of multimedia aids that offers about 80 short single-topic films that can be watched in the museum. 

The museum of the first world war 1915 - 1918

Inaugurated in 2004, there is a private museum on the Great War at Passo Fedaia. Thanks to the commitment and passion of Andrea, Dino and Sandro De Bernardin, today it is possible to admire the prestigious collection of memorabilia and reliques of war, most of which have been found at the Marmolada glacier, some of which, however, have also been donated. In the museum you can watch original films of those days and admire pictures as well as postcards. Moreover there is a special book store. You can reach the museum either from Canazei (13 km) or from Malga Ciapèla (9 km).
